This Privacy Policy covers the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information that may be collected by ACTax-CPA, Inc. when you interact with cpasb.com website.

Information that is Collected

When you access the cpasb.com website, we may automatically receive from you technical information, inter alia, the time at which you enter and exit the site, the Universal Record Locator (URL, i.e., an internet address) of any website that sent you to us and to which you exit, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your geographical vicinity, your internet service provider, the make and model of the computer or other internet communication device that you are using, the make, model and serial number of the microprocessor for that computer or device, the make and version of the operating system being run by the computer or device, the internet browser type or other software that you are using and connection speed. cpasb.com website may place tracking or analytics cookies on your computer and/or pixel tags (tiny graphic images to tell us what parts of our website have been visited.) We reserve the right, without notice to you, to use cookies and/or pixel tags to track which pages of our websites are visited, how much time is spent at page and/or to provide a custom presentation to you when you next visit the cpasb.com website. We do NOT collect information for market research purposes and do NOT log your key stroke activity and/or store your clickstream data; however, as stated above, we reserve the right to place cookies on your computer and/or pixel tags.

We do NOT use personal information to send advertisement or make solicitations. We do NOT share your personal information with marketing partners, other service providers and vendors of goods who are seeking to sell you goods and services.

Disclosures in Connection With Legal Proceedings, in Cooperation With Police and to Ameliorate Safety Emergencies
We will disclose your personal information

  2. under a good faith belief that disclosure is required by law when it may not have actually been so required;
  3. to defend ourselves in any action filed against us
  4. in an action brought by us to enforce our rights, including collection of money believed owed to us, and/or protect our property
  5. under circumstances to protect safety of an individual or the public at large. When complying with a subpoena or other legal process served on us, we do not provide notice to you that we have been so served, unless specifically required by law to provide notice to you. We may receive a National Security Letter where we are prohibited by law from disclosing and/or challenging in court a demand for information.

Data Security

We take commercially reasonable precautions to protect personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We implement commercially reasonable procedures to accurately record personal information. It is your responsibility to up-date personal information when there is a change. We will work with you to reasonably access and correct the personal information you have provided. No system is 100% safe and the most respected companies and government agencies have had situations of compromised data. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Compliance

This portion of the privacy policy is in regards to children under the age of 13. The Site is provided by ACTax-CPA, Inc. at 9595 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 900, Beverly Hills, California Attention Irit Hoffenberg at Irit@cpasb.com. If you are 13 years old or younger, you must (i) have your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to visit this site; (ii) provide an email address or other contact information for your parent or guardian and (iii) provide or allow us to obtain your parent’s or legal guardian’s consent before you give out any information on the Site. We obtain said consent, we communicate by email to the parent or guardian and retain said email communications. The types of information that we collect about children is the same as that stated above. The use of information is the same as that stated above. At any time, parents can provide an email refusing to permit us to collect further personal information from their child and can request that any personal information we have collected be deleted from our records. Upon such a request, the child is NOT to further visit the website. We may amend our Children’s Privacy Policy at any time. We will provide parents notice by e-mail of any material changes. Parents or guardians update their e-mail address if there is any change. If we learn that that personal information is the information of a child under 13 for which no parental consent was given, we will attempt to delete the information as soon as possible.
